Set against the horizon of slow economic recovery and continuing political stalemate, AmCham Belgium released the third edition of its annual Priorities for a Prosperous Belgium (PPB) in May 2011. The report features six achievable measures to improve the conditions for doing business in Belgium.

AmCham Belgium believes that the implementation of these measures will support innovation, lead to higher employment, create a sustainable social benefit system, boost overall prosperity across the country and rapidly improve Belgium’s economic competitiveness in the region.

This year’s Report is supported by key members - across a broad cross-section of industries - of the US-Belgian business community, who, for the first time, have given testimonials in favor of these proposed measures.

The 2011 PPB also coincides this year with the launch of a new weekly email update – PolicyFlash – which will keep our members and key stakeholders up to date with AmCham Belgium’s latest focus articles and policy news.

The 2011 Priorities for a Prosperous Belgium is available via the links on the left of this page. Previous issues of Priorities for a Prosperous Belgium and its predecessor, Foreign Investment Agenda, can also be found on the left of this page.
