Ajit Shetty of Janssens Pharmaceutica to assure world-wide Quality Control for J&J

Mr. Shetty, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson (J&J) subsidiary Janssens Pharmaceutica in Beerse and J&J president of Global Chemical & Pharmaceutical Operations, is responsible for 50,000 employees. In his role as quality supervisor, his work will include analyzing production standards of medical and non-medical goods alike in J&J factories around the world and harmonizing them to a global quality standard. Mr. Shetty was named Manager of the Year in 2004 by Trends magazine and the Vlaamse Management Associatie and has been working for Janssens Pharmaceutica since 1976.
