N.B. Important change to event invoicing procedure
As a result of recent changes in the application of VAT to services across the European Union, AmCham Belgium is now subject to VAT. This has resulted in a change in our accounting procedures and from January 1, 2011 we will issue event invoices on the day of the event. Our cancellation and no show policy will remain the same – cancellations received after the cancellation deadline for an event (indicated on the invitation and our website) and ‘no shows’ will be charged in full. Invoices will not be issued for registrations cancelled before the cancellation deadline.
You may of course continue to pay by credit card on registration via our website. We hope these changes will, together with the fact that most of our networking receptions are now free of charge for members, simplify your event registration process and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
